3 months old!

Rylee turned 3 months old yesterday the 25th! I can't believe she is already 3 months old. Time flies! This little girl has quite the little personality. She definitely has her Mommy and Daddy wrapped around her little finger! She definitely owns this place that's for sure! Some fun little things about this little girly...

She still loves to stand and sit up. Definitely prefers to be up vs. laying down but now does much better with laying down by herself.
She now likes her bumbo. She liked it at first and then hated it but now loves it again.
Whenever she is laying down or sitting in her bouncer at an incline she lifts her head up like she is trying to sit up - it's hilarious.
She loves her binky now -YAY.
She hates her car seat. Used to love it but now hates it.
She smiles a lot but has only giggled a few times. Can't wait for her to do it again!
She loves loves loves being outside. We have gone on a couple hikes and we take her on a walk almost every night and she loves it.
She sits there by herself so much better now and doesn't cry most of the time.
She still eats all the time - she's my little eating machine!
She sleeps so good! She goes to sleep at 8:30, wakes up at 5 to eat and then falls back asleep until somewhere between 8:30 and 9:30. Love it!
She can now fall asleep by herself. Sometimes I can even just lay her down and she doesn't make a peep - she just falls asleep! But she HAS to be swaddled and a binky in her mouth.
She wasn't napping very good for a while but now she takes 2...sometimes 3 naps for AT LEAST an hour each.
Bath time is her favorite time of the day. She gets so happy in the bath it is so cute.
She loves to suck on her fists. They are constantly in her mouth.
She is still in 0-3 months clothes and will be for a little while longer.
She loves being naked!
She now cries when other people hold her other then Daddy and Mommy. Sometimes she even does it when Daddy holds her. Darn it! Hope that changes soon. (Although it does make me feel special haha!)

That is all I can think of for now...I have definitely enjoyed these 3 months with this little girl! My maternity leave is up in a month...I go back to work October 25th - her 4 month birthday! :( BUT I am only going to work 4 weeks and then quit and then it's back to being a full time Mommy again!

First Bath in the Big Tub!

Tonight was Rylee's first bath in the big tub!

I love how she's just kickin' back with her knees bent! She loves to stand and always stood when I washed her back and bum in her baby bath tub...she still did it in the big tub! I love her cute little bum!

Stewart Falls

Today we hiked Stewart Falls with our good friends Brandon and Samantha. It was a fun hike and so pretty! Rylee just loves being outside and just looks around at everything. It is so cute.

Best night yet!

So last night was Rylee's best night yet! I was almost worried about her cause she slept so good! She went to sleep last night at 9 and woke up at 5. I changed her diaper and fed her for a few minutes and she was back to sleep in less than 15 minutes. I put her back in the cradle about 5:15 and she woke up again at 8. Changed her again and fed her for a few minutes and she was back to sleep AGAIN! She fell back to sleep about 8:15 and woke up at 11...and that was only cause I woke her up by taking a shower. Should have just waited!! I seriously was shocked at how long she slept! And I was so happy I finally got a good night's sleep! I don't know why she hasn't been sleeping very good but I hope she starts sleeping better. Last night was a great night, let's just see what tonight is like. :) She wouldn't take longer than an hour total of napping today so she should sleep for a while. I think my baby is going through a growth spurt because the past few days she is hungry about every 2 hours and the last night she slept forever. But who knows!

Hot Pots

Today was Rylee's first hike! We hiked up to the hot pots. Rylee LOVED it. She slept the whole way up and was awake a lot of the time on the way down. She loves being outside so going on the hike was so much fun for her. When she was awake while we were at the hot pots she just kept looking back and forth at all the people. It was so cute. She is just so observant and so aware of what is going on. She is like a grown up in a baby body. On the way down she was just enjoying herself and looking around at all the trees.

She was happy MOST of the way home. She never looks like this in the car seat! Now I can add one more face to the car seat faces post. :) And of course she is sucking on her fists...she does this most of the day everyday. :)

Although we had tons of fun at the hot pots and hiking up to them that wasn't even close to the best part of my day. The highlight of my day was when Rylee was crying. I started rocking her and singing to her. She kept crying for a minute but when she finally stopped she looked up at me and smiled. Oh my gosh it brought a tear to my eye. That is when the lack of sleep makes being a Mommy totally worth it. I love this girl so much. She makes my life so happy. I can't imagine anything without her and I can't wait to keep watching her grow up. Being her Mommy is the best thing in the world.

Car seat faces

Besides screaming, there are 2 faces Rylee makes in the car seat and I just had to share. Sorry they are blurry! It's hard to hold a phone still in a moving truck!

This is her content face. She just has this funny look and pulls her fists up by her face. In the car, she just stares STRAIGHT AHEAD at the seat and won't move her head for anything. When I am shopping I put her in the cart facing me and she just stares straight at me with this face and won't move...eventually she falls asleep.

This is her mad face...haha. We went to Swiss Days yesterday and she did so good in the carrier and just slept the whole time. By the time we left, she had been so good she was done being good. She was so mad and did NOT want to be in her seat. Plus it was bath time so that didn't help one bit!
