FUN weekend!

This weekend was so much fun! We had the Tuttle Family Reunion (Kelly's Mom's side of the family) up Hobble Creek Canyon. Most of the family came, but there were some missing - including all Rylee's cousins. Rylee had so much fun with Callum (Kelly's cousin). She just follows him around and he absolutely adores her. I love watching them play together.

The first night we just played outside, ate dinner, and hung out around the campfire. Grandma and Grandpa told us stories from their childhood and we ate treats, roasted campfire eclairs, cooked popcorn, and told jokes. Callum is hilarious and told joke after joke and we were all laughing so hard.

I was nervous about Rylee sleeping. I didn't know how well she'd go to sleep or if she would even sleep all night but she definitely surprised me! I layed her down in the tent and she was out like a light immediately and slept all night long until probably right before 8 a.m. She didn't even wake up once all night! Kelly and I have sleeping bags that zip together so she just slept between us. We stayed toasy warm. :) When she woke up she didn't know what to think. She started crying saying, "I wanna go home!" It was so sad. She was probably cold and confused.

Saturday morning we got up and make breakfast burritos (yum!) and played outside for a while then and went for a short hike up the mountain. Rylee stayed behind and colored with those that stayed. When we got back we made bracelets for our craft, made caramel apples, played kickball and back to make lunch. We had taco salad for lunch (yum again!) and cleaned up, hung out for a bit longer and then headed home.

It was a fun filled weekend and Rylee was out before we even got out of the canyon. We got home and wanted to go for a run together but Rylee was so out cold we couldn't wake her up. Kelly went running and then I went running when he got home. Had to run off some of the stuff we ate this weekend! :)
Rylee wouldn't eat for me - only for Callum. He would ask her, "Which one next?" and
she would point to the piece of hotdog she wanted next saying, "dis one!" and he would feed it to her. Hilarious.
Helping set up the tent
Roasting marshmallows with Grandma. It was so cold but the little stinker would not keep her coat on.
Dirty face means she's having fun!
So cozy
Just woke up
Sitting in the truck to warm up
Loving breakfast. Yummy breakfast burritos.

Rylee driving with Uncle Scott. She was driving and yells, "I dibing Grandma!"
while turning the wheel back and forth really fast. It was so funny.
Making bracelets
Coloring again with Callum. She loves Callum!
So sleepy
Right before playing kickball. She loves her Uncle!
Sweet pic right? I love that you can even see the ball
Kickball
All of us right before leaving
Our little family. Rylee was beat.
Out before we even got out of the canyon
We got home and unloaded the truck while she continued to sleep in the truck.
Kelly brought her inside and she stayed asleep on the couch for a while.

I am so glad we finally got to go camping. We have been wanting to go SO bad but just never planned a camping trip this summer. Rylee loved it and I really wish we would have taken her before now! Can't wait til next summer - we will go lots!

I just have to put this up. I am SO proud of myself. I have been working so hard exercising to get back in shape. The first picture is me 6 months after having Rylee (she is now almost 27 months old) and the bottom one was taken last night. When Rylee was just over 7 months old (February 2011) I started going to Zumba and have been going twice, sometimes 3 times a week since then. I ran a little bit here and there but starting this Spring I started going running a ton on top of going to Zumba. The entire month of May I went almost every single morning and sometimes went twice a day and sometimes went twice a day AND went to Zumba (exercising 3 times a day - yikes!) I have been feeling so great and seeing these pictures and comparing them makes me feel so good about myself. I am so proud of myself with the way I look and how hard I have been working. It definitely pays off! :)

Yay! Go me!
